Hi,
I've tried looking on the internet, and here as well, to see if others have had the same problem. However, there seems to be nothing similar to my question. My brother gave me this phone because he bought the Samsung GSIII. Everything was working fine for a few days, but now my Home Row only works sporadically. The Home Key won't take me "home", the Search Key doesn't search, the Menu Key doesn't work, and the Back Key won't take me back when I'm in an app.
At first I thought it was a charger problem because I was using one of the "cheap chargers", so I bought a replacement Nexus S charger from Amazon. Then I bought a micro-B USB cord as well. Still nothing. So, I factory reset the phone multiple times.
When it works, I'll charge the phone using one of the new charger that I bought. Once done charging, the Home Row stops working again. I'll do a battery pull or power off and restart the phone. It'll work sometimes, and I use the word sometimes loosely. I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions? I'm a college student and buying a new phone isn't in a college budget.
