Samsung Pay NFC vs Competitor

Hello All,

I have a beautiful Note 5 phone and have used Samsung Pay here and there. I also have a work iPhone 6s. I have noticied that Samsung Pay seems to be slower in authenticating/approving purchases vs Apple Pay where you just provide a fingerprint and in less than 2 secs you're good. Samsung I provide the fingerprint and maybe 5secs or more not sure it authenticates. I much rather prefer the method of providing the print WHILE attempting to pay.

Anyways whats your thoughts regarding this?
 
I guess it depends whether the payment is via nfc or mag stripe reader.....Note 5 can do both. Iphone only NFC.
