SCAWAR (a hidden gem of a game) has a sale going on through the weekend. The first half of the game is free, the second half costs $2, however for the weekend it's 50% off and is $.99. Also the in game currency is on sale as well, though it completely optional (like Temple Run), you can get 20%-50% off your in game currency purchases as well. If you haven't played this game yet, you should. If you have already played it, now is a good time to make any wanted purchases.

A full price for the app AND users would still have to pay for in-app currencies? Forget it. People should not get this game to encourage the unacceptable practice of double dipping.

The in app purchases are for those people that don't want to play the game as intended. This is an acceptable trend in the mobile game space. Developers basically produce a good game at a good price and then put a pay-to-cheat model on top. SCAWAR is not a variable cost to complete, it's a variable cost to cheat model.
