Schools Are Starting to Ban Smartwatches During Exams

To prevent cheating, a Japanese university has started to ban students from wearing a smartwatch during exams.

The university I work at banned them in exams last year, and I doubt we were the first place to do it. So this is not as novel as The Verge seem to think.
