Phone is working but screen is green and black. Sometimes white with pink, purple vertical lines. Can anyone help with this?

That sounds like damage from a drop/impact or moisture. A visit to a trusted tech or the carrier store where purchased come to mind.
First you might try removing everything under the battery cover (sim, sd card, battery) unless the cards are in slots.. not familiar with that device.
Anyway, heat damage from being left on a dashboard in car, etc could also cause that on the screen. Many causes, all pointing toward repair or exchange.
