screen froze

when i turned on my phone this morning the screen had froze. So i took out the battery and put it back in but it still wouldn't work and when i get messages they appear at the top so i know it isn't froze . Can someone help please?

Hello and welcome aboard. Can you use the phone at all? A short preview of your notification will appear at the top of the screen. This is normal. If the device isn't working properly after removing / reinserting the battery _ then you might wanna take it to your nearest service center for repairs or a replacement.
