"SD Storage set flag full" msg.

So I started getting this message the other day- "SD storage flag set full" or something like that. I have a 32gb card with plenty of room left.... normally I'd just ignore it, but if it pops up (on the top bar) while I'm listening to music, it stops the song for a moment... very annoying.
I've checked all my settings, and even looked at any apps that I recently installed, I can't figure it out.
I'm rooted with CM7, if that helps.

Things to look at

Anything big showing in LOST.DIR.

You might also want to go to

settings > applications > manage applications > all > and clear the caches, reboot phone

If all else fails, what I would do is, backup everything on the sd card to your computer, reformat the card, install what you want from the backup that you made, back to the phone, reboot.

I don't know where you got the card, but if it came from anywhere other than a reputable walk in, brick and mortar store, I would check to make sure it it's not a counterfeit by using an android utility or by mounting in your computer and check size. You just never know these days!

I got the card (a Sandisk) from a used phone.
But I've had it for months with no problems, until this week. There's plenty of room left on the card.
