hi androidforums! i'm in a bit of a predicament. if I posted this in the wrong place, im sorry!
first off: i know NOTHING about phones, so be gentle
I noticed my phone had been on for about 5 days without restarting it or anything at about 3 AM last night so I wanted to restart my phone, whenever I did I get stuck with "Secure booting Error! cause: boot certificate verify"
I don't really know what this means, or how to fix it, am i bricked forever or what? My phone is the MetroPCS version (it says D500/MS500 on the back) and in the past I used 1click root on it. I haven't installed any new apps in the past 72 hours to make this sort of thing happen, im not really sure how it happened at all honestly. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
EDIT FOR CLARIFICATION AND TRANSPARENCY: i've attempted to use the LG Mobile Support Tool to no avail, sometimes nothing happens when I plug the USB in from my computer and sometimes it just goes to the failed boot screen.
i've also attempted to do the volume up + homekey + power button hard reset, it allows me to say yes to the dialogs and it shows the loading screen of the hardreset, but then it restarts and doesnt allow me to boot.
I do not need anything that is currently on the phone, none of the data is important to me. I need a tool to get into contact with people for work and rides and etc, though. I have a 32GB sim card with all my music on it seperate that I'd like to keep if at all possible.
