Seriously need help!!!!! Bootloop from hell!!

Ok so i just got this galaxy rush and was trying to factory reset then all of a sudden it started bootlooping samsung restart samsung restart battery pull does not work odin cant connect and the phone wont stay on long enough for recovery and theres no ruus as far as i can find....so what do you say help?
 
When you boot into downloading mode what happens?
Have you used Odin on this phone before?
Have you tried reinstalling the drivers?

Yes, you need to be in downloading mode to use Odin.

You get to downloading mode by holding volume down and power and once prompted, you press volume up.

Do you have the stock recovery? Have you installed clockwork mod recovery?

When you try to access recovery, it just reboots/continues to bootloop?

If you can get into clockwork mod recovery you can reflash the stock rom
 
Turn the phone off, then hold vol. Down + power button to boot into download mode, then push vol. Up button, and it should then be ready to connect to Odin3. From there, flash the stock.tar

The thing is, the stock .tar is still just /system. It isn't a complete stock.... But hopefully the /system partition is the only thing that is wrong with the phone. If so, then the stock.tar should work... Although I'm pretty sure its from ICS... Which won't help much if the phone was already updated to jellybean. If it was updated to jellybean, he will then need to install cwm and flash the stock jb rom or he will end up with a mis-matched baseband which will make it so the official update will fail

What about downloading mode?


Edit - is the device rooted? Have you changed any software? If its still bone stock, then ypou can likely get a warranty repair for free. The phone comes with a one year manufacturers warrenty

Have you looked to see if perhaps the power button is stuck? If you hold the power button the phone will continually reboot.

You did mention that when you put the battery unto the phone it tries to boot... That isn't normal behavior for this phone. So either the power button is stuck down, the power button has malfunctioned, or something has gone terribly wrong with the phone.

I would try to clean around the power button and see if it pops back up. (If that is indeed the issue) if not you may need to send it in for repair
 
Well originally I was thinking it was some kind of corruption to the system, but based on the fact that you can't even get to downloading mode and are experiencing constant reboots I'm going to guess you have some kind of hardware failure :(

I'm sorry, I wish I had a better answer.
