Shutdown to prompt password

Hi All,

I am looking for a way to prompt for password when I shut the android down.

I have a casing which I have tweaked to make the battery removal almost difficult. I also have some security tool that can alarm my phone when it goes missing.

Now I need to make shutdown difficult.

If someone takes my phone, they will not be able to remove my casing unless they pry it open, i have a lock at the main screen.. but they can press the shutdown button to go to flight mode, shut it down.

Any ideas pls ? Any tools would be great. :)

I was about to post a new thread for the same thing. I use Tasker to email location on shutdown and startup, as well as using androidlost. However if someone finds my phone and manages to power it off then I'm SOL.

Any ideas for this?
