signal for radio

How is the signal for the 3G on this phone? Im looking to get the S or the SL. I live in a rural area. My phone now, Im getting 1 to 2 bars with AT&T.

I too live in a (very) marginal signal area.
My Xperia S spends a little more time with no signal at all than my old Wildfire (original type) did. This is solved by keeping it and using it upstairs where the signal is a little better.

The Xperia S is mean with its bars! You need a really good signal to get more than 2 bars up, but don't panic because it works fine with no bars showing at all.
