The sleep/wake button on my Triumph suddenly stopped working. It was working fine earlier today. But when I took the phone out of my backpack after school, I couldn't get it to wake up. I figured it had frozen for some reason so I pulled the battery. After putting the battery back in, it turned on almost immediately, which I'm pretty sure it never did before. After it booted up, I couldn't get it to sleep. I then realized the button was not working. I tried enabling "Volume rocker wake" in the CyanogenMod input settings, but it seems to work some of the time. So I have no way of waking it or locking it, which makes the phone kind of useless. It's a shame because the phone works fine otherwise. I am running MTDEV-CM7 build 2013-03-03.

The power button is failing. I went through this with a phone that became my DEV phone. One thing you could do is plug it in. That will kick up the screen.

Same thing just happened to mine today!! Thats weird.

You can always try but any modifications made void any warranty work. They may just tell you that you need to contact asurion if you have tep.
