Help Slo Mo Video Recording

I was mucking about with the video recording last night and found the slo mo option. Just to confirm, there is no sound when the video is played back or am I holding it wrong?

It seems daft to want sound in a slow motion video, but it would be nice to know you can have it if you want it.

Looks like no as if you press the speed up to normal while viewing the sound starts again :/
There's a few things about the camera making me think about sending it back before the 14 days. Can't turn off shutter sound and sometimes take a long time to take the picture, a good 5 seconds or more. I assume this is the HDR function but it seems a little excessive. Picture quality is good though. Are there also no filter add ons for the stock camera app like Sony for example?

No filters, but even on the Z1, I didn't really use them anyway so I didn't really notice that.

It's never taken that long to take a picture for me, are you using Auto or Manual?

Just using auto. I took a bunch of pics last night and it didn't take long so maybe it was just in certain particular light or something.
