Help SMS Duracell pop up

hey guys im writing this because i haven't been able to find anymore information on the subject. anyways my friend has an incredible stock non rooted and every time he gets any sms he gets this pop up on his screen saying you have a new message with who its from etc and a preview also it has a Duracell banner on the top of the window.. any idea on what this is?

Well the popup is most likely from either Chomp or Handcent as they both have a feature called Quick Reply and Compose. This is easily disabled in the settings for the SMS app he is using.

Although I cannot speak for Handcent, as far as a Duracell banner goes, if he has Chomp and has not paid to remove ads it will show banner ads. I do not think it would be the same banner ad every time, but I suppose it is possible.

Not sure about the Duracell banner, but SMS popup does this without changing the SMS app
