Help Soaked Note 3

It's like losing a best friend, but yes, I went swimming in pool and took my phone with me, too. Unfortunately it didn't like the water as much as I did. It was on when it went in; dead when it came out. This took place within 2 minutes.

Removed battery and sim card immediately. Placed in bowl of rice for 36 hours. I turned on and it worked. Problem: flickering screen and gets hot fast. Then the touch screen begins to go schizo on me...

Advice, please? Save our friendship, haha.

Soak in alcohol? Then dry in rice again?

Thanks for the help!

This exact thing just happened to me and I'm posting from the phone now but it gets hot fast, doesn't always turn on or the screen flickers and has green lines.
I have cleaned any corrosion of the main board and contacts with 99% Isopropyl and dried it out.
I think the battery may be the culprit now as everything works fine) cam, videos etc..) as long as I don't turn it off/on or dim the screen.
