SoftBank is paying $32 billion to buy ARM

Softbank is expanding it product portfolio by getting to the mobile chip business. The Japanese conglomerate (which also own Sprint) has announced that it will pay $32 billion for ARM. For those who don't know, ARM designed the processors which are used in nearly 95% of smartphones these days. ARM architecture is licensed by Qualcomm, Apple, Samsung, Huawei and many other top processor manufacturers across the globe.
