Help Software update 5/8/13 (Verizon)

I just downloaded the update this morning and im having a couple issues.

The smart sensor "eyeball" stays on all the time

Unless I turn system volume down it was making the click noise for text letters and even the vibeation was going when it was never set to before update. Its not doing it anymore though.

Those are the only things I have noticed so far. (Im using apex launcher so maybe it needs updated and Iim not rooted)

Does any one know what exactly was updated? Only thing I have noticed was the extra app available in multiwindow which is awesome.

The eyeball icon is the smart stay feature. You can go to settings, display and disable smart stay.

The text click you can silence by going to settings,language and input, click on samsug keyboard, click advanced then look at key tap sound.

I knew that, but I'll click "Thanks" anyway!!
 
I did the update last week to 4.1.2. Is above seeing horrible battery life and my signal is worse with less 4g? Please let me know.
