Root Someone help point me in the right direction

I have 5.1.1 installed on my Nexus 9 and i wanna flash to 6.0 but i need the Oct patch then Android6 when i try to flash i get this message saying im on 5.0.2? someone tell me what OTA im supposed to flash. i uploaded a pic

Well, 5.0.2 for your device looks like LRX22L (based-upon the Nexus factory images page), so I'm guessing you might first need to update to 5.1.1 LMY47X...

edit: hmm, the flashing error message that you posted above says your device is "LRX22G" which isn't even listed in the Nexus factory image pages...for the Nexus 9, anyway .

The OTA .zip you're trying to install is for going from LMY48M (5.1.1) to LMY48T (5.1.1).

Just use wugfresh nexus root toolkit. Or flash the whole factory image and remove the wipe command.
