I'm running 2.2.2 on ally velocity and I was wondering how to go back to stock. My mom will active this phone again.

usually verizon wont activate a modded phone however you can activate it yourself online with the modified software.
oorrr get creative and theme up the phone to look stock. im sure you have the talent.

I did the downgrade with the lgmu software update etc whatever that forum was called i forgot but i think it was made by trident, but how do i know if root is off? the system says 2.1update 1

root shouldnt be installed. only problem you might have is connection to the network.

When you do the restore method. it sometimes flashes a bad meid file or the driver that makes the phone connect to the network. this can be fixed tho.
