Root Sorta goodbye to the Ally.

I moved into a new apartment a few months ago and sadly all Verizon phones I've tested have no reception inside the building. This left me with no choice but to find a new carrier. The Ally was a great phone with only thanks to the developers here. Although its not completely retired, I will be using my Ally only asa secondary phone now until my contract is out. Thanks so much to all the developers who took my year in the Ally from a piss poor entry level phone, to a usable functional and zippy device.

Just picked up Sprint's Nexus S 4G for $1 at Best Buy yesterday. Thanks to my learning curve time spent here the phone came out of the box, was rooted, and had CM7 flashed within about ten minutes of being home with it. So much for the warranty huh?

I think you might be able to get out of your contract because of this.
