Help Sound quality on phone is horrible

I've been a HTC for a while and feel the One X+ is a very powerful phone. I love the computer aspect of it. Unfortunately the phone quality is terrible. If I use Bluetooth on my truck, the person sounds digitally distorted, and when I use the phone normally the person I'm speaking to sounds fine but they can't stand the echo and reverb sounds going back at them. I don't know what to do other than take it back for service. The phone is on the Telus network. Does anyone have any suggestions of what could be wrong? Thanks in advance.
