Help speakers not working after digitizer repair

I repaired my cracked digitizer and now the sound doesn't work in any apps but works for notifications and alarms. The pogo pins were transferred and all the ribbon cables look fine. Help!

Hello and welcome to the forums.Was this a new or used digitalizer . if used and sometimes new ones come with defects . so how did the ribbon cable look .

The digitizer was a brand new oem replacement the ribin cables for everything were perfect the wires for the speakers look fine and are all the way in

Can I ask you this question and I asked it before . how can you define the brand new look . if this was your first time installing a digitalizer you may did like many . who or where did you get the digitalizer from . may look into sending it back .or check to make sure you done the installation correct

It's my first nexus 7 repair, but not my first tablet or smartphone repair

That's great you should no that something can be wrong with anything u buy from any store or eBay

You're not really helping here, the replacement I got is oem it's not that

Hmmmm your asking me for help . and I am trying my best to . I ask a question and you haven't answered yet . have you taken apart to make shore something didn't disconnect.

Um... have you looked at the volume settings? Cuz if notifications chime, the cable is fine.
