Root [Sprint/Cricket] having a problem

why do i always have a problem with my roms when i flash a touchwiz rom? Im having trouble explaining it. the best way i can explain it is after a while when i exit an app and go back to my home screen, my wallpaper starts to scroll and half way one side is my wallpaper the other side looks like a webpage or something. I cant tell because after going half way my wallpaper snaps back to normal. i wish there was a way i could video it and up load it on here to show you.

strange... do you wipe the data cache and dalvik cache before you flash a rom?

this is very strange... usually TW roms are the most stable... what roms have you used so far? what rom are you using now?

Im using MOAR Rom now. I used jelly bomb rom, didnt like all the blue. i used chubbs, blazer rom, cm10. i might be missing one or two. dont really like the look of most other roms.

hm... this is very strange... id suggest a full restore of the phone to stock and then rooting all over again and then installing a custom rom and seeing if it persists... also wipe everything

havent had a problem with MOAR rom yet (knocking on wood). had it for a couple days.

That is pretty weird behavior, it could have been ROM and kernal related, not all kernals play nice with certain ROMs....or phones for that matter.

A new version of MOAR is about to be released......I looked through the thread a hour or so ago and Rompnit was uploading to the servers :beer:

If you decide to install the update, I would recommend doing a clean install and stick with whichever kernal you are currently using on this ROM.

How do you do a clean install and keep the same kernal. im still new at this so i thought the kernal was included in the rom zip.

OK I decided to try the aokp ROM. My question is how do you change the lock screen wallpaper and the home launcher how do you get rid of that damn Google search bar.

well i went back to the moar rom. now if i can do the update.

Great my only rom i tried that never did this problem just now started. thinking i might just unroot. im tired of trying to figure this out.
