Root [Sprint/Cricket] update custom roms

i reinstalled the freegs3 v0.2.0 cuz it works best for me. i want to try his jb freegs3. do i have to do a factory reset to install the zip or can updated roms be installed over each other. ive read that both work but wanted to get input from u guys. thanks.

Pretty much if it's the same ROM (by the developer) all you would do it wipe cache/dalvik cache and flash it over top, NORMALLY. Some people it starts messing with stuff so they end up having to factory reset. Try it out and see if anything stops working well for you (it'll be apps that stop working correctly if anything). If not, you know what to do.
 
well, i did a factory reset and zipped the jb freegs3 and i started getting that "insufficient storage available" warning while trying to update apps. probably redownload the .zip and try again later.
