Seriously looking at the EVO, sprint works great in the town I live in, but there are some roaming sections on the edge of town. According to the coverage map on sprint.com for a sprint phone there is no service and I would be roaming. But when I go to sprint.com and look at the coverage maps I see that Nextel devices get good coverage in that area.
I am a little confused, does the Nextel service only work on nextel phones? I understand that Sprint and Nextel are the same, so does a Sprint phone work there or is it roaming off of the Nextel towers since the sprint phone is not a Nextel phone?
