I'm trying to help my girlfriend along with her phone which is an HTC One V version 4.0.3 and HTC SDK API level 4.11. This Stagefright vulnerability has me stumped as far as relief or patches go for this old phone. Other than un-checking auto retrieve MMS I don't know what else can be done. Besides getting a new phone is there anything else I can do to stay updated and secure against this Stagefright or any other vulnerabilities?
