strange text from 400000 metro

it seems like an update was trying to be applied to my phone and for what ever reason it failed and left me with a strange text message, i say (failed) update because the first few letters in the text read as follow:

//BREW:0x01079633:!1 |https://mymetro.bevocal.com:8443/services/bodcsapi-2.2.0 |appName=NMC_METRO_CARE_CLIENT&appVersionID=0.0.0.2&configSetName=nmc1.1#

now where it says 0x01079633, well 9633 is last digits of this metro number and 0x010 sounds like an error or something involving memory.

This text was in my inbox after my phone rebooted itself at approx 2:13am and text recived at 2:15am, maybe they were trying to update my firmware to 2.2.0? i have no clue and i haven't researched this at all via google or anything, sometimes in cases like this google will be unconclusive so i'd figure i'd share it with everyone and would like to hear thoughts/ideas

I just got this text as well and googled to find your post, I have LG esteem though.

Do you have a pending support ticket with metro?

If I remember correctly, it's related to Metro bloatware bullshit where if you have said bloatware installed, it intercepts the SMS and displays whatever crud they're pandering in some sort of graphical format.
