Help Strange two tone sound

Hi Friends. I hope you'll bear with me, I don't know much about this stuff. Anyway I have a 7" tablet that I use to listen to audiobooks and music with. Every so often it is interrupted with this momentary two tone sound. I don't know if this is caused by some other program running in the background or what. Any ideas? Thanks.

Sounds like you are describing an app notification tone. Is there anything in your notification bar (top of screen) when this happens? If so, tapping it will take you to the app in question. At that point, you can search the app's settings to disable or change the tone.
