Help stuck on red eye startup

Hello there Christopher! Welcome to AF!
What device/carrier do you have? Did this happen after trying to download something? Did you try to root it and then this occurred?
Please give us more details leading up to the issue and we can try to troubleshoot your issue ;)

I have Verizon. It is a Razr HD. It started to struggle after a bunch of things updated the other day. Then most of my apps would crash right away after the I opened them. So I tried to restart my phone and it won't get past that screen

Hmmm, not too familiar with your device, but I would try to boot into recovery and wipe the cache partition, then try to reboot again.
Do you know how to boot into recovery?

I have the same problem. My phone won't make it to the Recovery menu. I followed all the instructions and all I see is the dead robot with the ! but nothing happens after that even though I press the buttons. I haven't had access to my phone in 24 hours.

Edit: I never tried rooting this phone and this also happened after automatic updates by a bunch of apps. Droid Razr Maxx.

I'm dealing with the same thing, Tried clearing cachee in a recovery mode but can't even get to the place where you clear the cachee ?????

I had that same issue with my phone following an OTA update that went bad. You need to find the original OTA files for your phone (correct carrier, build version, etc.) Search on here for links. Then install RSD lite and flash the new files to your phone. This was the process that worked for me.
