Help Stupid question but how how do i DL music

Hi all, sorry for the stupid thread but i need help.

I'm new to the S3 having only got it a couple of days ago. Prior to this i was on the Iphone which was easy to DL music and ringtones via the Itunes store.

Well erm...

How do i download music or ringtones on the S3? The instruction book that came in case is useless. Its all new to me and i've no idea what i'm doing. All i want to do is find movie themes, songs i like etc and then download or use as a ring/text tone.

How exactly do i do this because i'm stumped.

I have nothing on a memory card or on my laptop so everything would be coming from on the phone.

Please advise.

If you want to buy music then just use the Play Store, they have craploads of music. That or Amazon MP3. They both have apps.

I don't really buy much music but I download music onto my laptop and then move it with AirDroid or Google Play Music.

If you have no morals like me download BitTorrent app too

If you already have music on a computer you want to transfer to your phone you can download Kies from Samsung's website to download and sync your music. I use Kies to do this and it works well.

there are apps on the market Google/Amazon that are for downloading music...just search for them

I have music on my old Nokia N97 and on my PC. I just plug my SGS3 into my PC, and use it as a USB drive. On the SGS3 drive, you will see a folder called Music. Just copy all of your music onto this Music folder on the SGS3. You can keep the same old folder structure if you want. The SGS3 music player should pick up the new songs instantly.
