Help Swiftkey with 2.2 won't work with physical keyboard?

Sorry if this is an old question or anything. It's been a long time since I've come around the site, and the search function didn't seem to find anything related to what I wanted to ask about.

I recently updated my Moment to Android 2.2 and everything is going well, except for Swiftkey.

Previously, whether using the on-screen keyboard or the physical keyboard, Swiftkey would do its thing, giving suggestions and such.

But now, with the update, when I use my physical keyboard, it's just a keyboard. No more Swiftkey suggestions.

What can I do? I'm sure there is just some setting somewhere that I'm missing, but I sure can't figure it out.

it's working on mine and I have the following checked under Input Settings:

AutoComplete
AutoCaps
Voice recognition

everything else is un-checked.

Well, I've realized one thing. Swiftkey IS operational, it just doesn't display anything. I can start typing and hit space, and it will fill a word in. But I have no idea what it will fill in because the Swiftkey GUI doesn't show.

When you say you got the Gingerbread keyboard...just a stock Android Keyboard from Gingerbread? Or a special version of Swiftkey for it?

If the former, what does that give you? If the latter, how do I find that?

The Gingerbread keyboard is in the market and it is by Steven Lin. There is a free version and a paid version. I like it because it has larger keys and a bar with all punctuation to choose from. Also, user dictionary, built in dictionary, auto correction, speech to text plus other things. I don't use the onscreen KB much but this one is a lot better than the one that was on the moment.

I had the same problem. seems to be related to the SmartKeyboardPro that I use.
I rarely need it, and I like the smart keyboard too much to do anything about it.
