Help Temperature is too low

Matthew2D

Newbie
OK here is what happened. I spilt water on my s4. Some of it got inside. I dried it out and it worked fine. But I couldn't charge it. It said "Unable too charge. Battery temperature is too low." I got a new battery and put it in. It still says temperature is too low. What do I do?

Hi there,

Try this little trick that worked for me when i had that error.

1. Turn off your phone
2. Take the battery out for 30+ seconds
3. Plug the charger in
4. Put the battery back in
5. Turn on the phone.

Hope this helps!

Sorry for the late reply, It looks like your have something wrong or something inside your charging port. The sensors are not working properly if there is something in it or you have a faulty charging port. I have two options for you:

1. There could be dirt deep inside your charging port. Grab a needle or paperclip and lightly dig out any possible dirt in your charging port.

If that didn't work,

2. You will have to replace the thermistor that's in the charging port. For more information about this, click here: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...rging-paused-battery-temperature-too-low.html
Hope this helped!
