Help text message voice announcement??

I'm using a Verizon s3 and since the most recent update everything I get a text message my phone announces who the message is from out loud. Any way to turn this off?

It sounds like you have driving mode enabled. Pull down your notifications and it should be in the top toggles to the right (you might need to scroll).

Swype is a keyboard, not an SMS app.

I'd try enabling and then disabling driving mode. Or maybe just reboot.

to uninstall go to settings>application manager>Swype Beta and click uninstall.
