Root Thanks to everyone. Loving Liberty 0.8 on my X

Thanks to everyone on this site and others who post the tutorials, videos, links to files and answer questions. I did an SBF back to Froyo, rooted, installed the Team Black Hat Gingerbread and then flashed to Liberty 0.8 all in one day. Very easy with all the help that has been provided.

If you are on the fence about flashing to a custom ROM don't be. It was pain free and it's like I have a whole new phone. It's going to be even easier to keep my X until next summer now.

Should not have to wipe. If you have any problems then go for it. Unless you want to just check out 0.8 for awhile to see if you still like it. Its a great ROM though. I was running it until I recently switched to CM7.

Thanks. I might run it for a while first. It's been great so far. You liking CM7? Can you use the market on CM7?

The android market? Of course lol! But the camera / camcorder doesn't work on CM7. There is a fix for it, but the camcorder still doesn't work. There is now a working 480p version of the camcorder but the droid x is 720p and no one wants 480p video lol.
