Don't know if anyone remembers, but a while back I asked about what kind of tools and supplies I'd need to do a particular project. Well, I wisely decided to hire someone who not only has the correct tools, but also knows how to use them really well. 
Here's the transformation from two ugly, orphaned chain-link fence posts to a new sitting area in my garden; various angles to show front/back and the view from it:
The white planter is now filled with flowers:
To pull it all together, I had the old black metal arbor leading from the patio into the yard replaced with a white wooden arbor; its design and shape and color match the pergola in the back:
I love it, and I'm REALLY glad I didn't try to do it myself. :laugh:
