The image file xxxxxx.jpg was deleted (MMS)

Sending MMS no problem. Receiving MMS rarely works. I can watch the message coming in- it says downloading... Then when it finishes the only thing the message says is "The image file xxxxxx.jpg was deleted". What the?

You know what?! I got that same message like two weeks ago when someone sent me a jpg. Only happened once. Hasn't happened since.

constantly here & sometimes mms dont arrive until hours later or never come in at all. Shows file size and expires with todays date, example:

downloading: 220kb
expires Nov 5

Then says:
the image file xxxxxx.jpg was deleted

Does it have to do with some kind of expiration date thing?

I don't think so. Try taking the phone in. More than likely they can't fix it. Just make sure you have cellular data enabled and on either 1x or EV or 4G showing.
