The S4 has arrived! (Photos!)

Woooooooooooooooooooooooo

Does this mean i will defo get my S4 from my local carphone branch this Friday then - made even better knowing i get a Samsung Galaxy tab 2 thrown in as well lol

Hello AF!

Working in a cellphone dealership sure has it's perks! Today we got our S4 demo's, and I've taken som pictures to share with y'all.

The screen is gorgeous!

I'm taking this phone home today, and I'll be writing a quick review once I get home. Let me know in this thread if there are any specific features you'd like me to test out!

does it still feel as plasticy?

I'll be going over this is my review, but it does feel a lot better than the S3! The backplate sits better, the phone doesn't make squeaky sounds when you twist on it. The power and volume buttons are in aluminum, which does give the entire phone a better quality-feel to it.

Sounds and looks good - lets hope it lives up to the hype

How is the screen of the s4 compared to note 2? I don't like pentile..

I am very curious of this as well. I thought the Note 2 with its RGB matrix and ability to choose one of the four screen pre-sets made the screen much more enjoyable (for me) compared to my S3.

Also, if you don't mind mentioning in your review, I would like to know if they improved on the dimness of the S3. Professional reviews have mentioned they have....but to what extent I am not certain.

Enjoy that device!!

Actually it is aluminium everywhere - US scientists agreed to give up aluminum and everyone else sacrificed sulphur (or so my university chemistry teacher had us believe, never did check the veracity of their info!).

Actually I didn't know you write it like that in english. It's "aluminium" in Norwegian too, but I've always written the english one like you pronounce it :P
But as Barry lives in Scotland, chances are he pronounces it "aluminium" :)

("aluminum" is the American pronounciation).

Not only how we pronounce it, it's also how we've spelled it for decades.

Can we all get back to the SGS4 now? :D

Please. :)

PS - correct answer is yes, I'm going to delete further aluminium/aluminum debates as pointless and off-topic. ;)

The Queen's English, American English and chemists are ALL correct.

Hmm I watched an unboxing video that showed a yellow 100% from recycled materials. This box you got looks bigger and white. I wonder what box the s4 will come with here in the us.

Nice. My GT-I9500 preorder is showing to ship in 1-2 days right now. I bought my GT-I9100 about 2 years ago in Norway, was going to buy it from Telenor, but they were out of stock so I got it at Netcom.

I read online that Nordic market was getting the GT-I9505, is that what you have here?

That's correct, GT-I9505. Might have been worth mentioning
