FIX PACKAGES PERMISSION AND FLASH IT IN RECOVERY
after a lot of reading and hundred of try's here i present my first theme

it's a combination of sense and gingerbread i made it for me it has some features like

i wanr to port this theme to GAOSP GINGERBREAD but i want help can you direct me i am stuck at themeing the SYSTEMUI.APK part of GINGERBREAD!!

Since there is already a nightly build available, you probably will end up modifying your theme often and that gets seriously annoying after a while.

About Gingerbread, I haven't touched it (ever), so I can't really help you with specific issue. I will be incredibly busy until next Thursday, so after that I might set-up my laptop to theme Gingerbread.

D You had your sim for for a crap too ?? That's part of what prompted me to get my new phone. They changed sims and no change. I was getting intermittent service. Never thought of re-flashing to see if it sorts itself out.

My SIM just stopped working, it wasn't detected by the phone, so I wouldn't get any signal. They switched it and everything started working again.

I'd change too, but I can't really afford it at this point in my life. The Atrix seems awesome.

I'm also going a little off topic.
Why would you choose Atrix??? Better wait later this year until units with Dual-core processors appears. LG Optimus 2x is already out (with Tegra 2 processor) and you guessed it right graphic chip based on GeForce (all in one - APU).
Dual-core smartphones are the future (like Dual-core PC was).

Now on-topic:
Did you try to make it compatible with "Theme Chooser"? Theme Chooser is a nice option found in Gingerbread. You select your favorite theme a click on it and you have an instant new theme without flashing it via Recovery.

Very nice theme. You might go a little farther and color the 3G icon in gingerbread green to accent the status bar. Try #84BA00 or #8CCB00 with a slight gradient, it really sets the statusbar off:

The gradient for the battery icon in my screenshot above is:
#8cd300 (top)
#7baa00 (bottom)

The default htc Sense battery icon uses gradients on both the battery level and the level background. I've grabbed a default battery icon and attached it to this post. You'll need to open the attachment in an image editor and have a look, they used a subtle white glare over everything so it changes the hex codes.

You can also have a look at the Ultimate Online Theme Kitchen, they have some htc Sense battery icon mods.
