thing i found at the samsung booth at CES 2013

1. guy wont confirm S4. i grilled him. maybe i will come back tomorrow and see another person... lol.

2. the thing for this show for samsung is NOTE II, the galaxy camera and their ultrabook laptop.

lots of NIIs and G Cams to play with. didnt bother with the computer cause... well. oh, their line of kitchen appliances i skipped also... lol...

nothing new to report on the N II since we all know it.

the G CAM...well, imagine placing a 21x zoom lens on our S3. thrown in a few apps to manage the thing. i like the feel of the the grip. that slight rounded up bump at the right side makes for taking pixs handy.

can you imagine if they kept the phone part? after all, it works with 3G networks to upload stuff to facebook, etc.

of course the shutter button is where it should be.

oh the 120 frames per second, albeit at the 720 lines mode...

oh well, a slight disappointment this year...

i was there yesterday. the only thing i liked about Samsung's booth was their "entrace" area with those nifty looking TVs.

other than that, i loved trying out the Razer Edge tablet.

I had heard that Samsung would not introduce a major new product at CES. They like to introduce the things like the S4 at a special meeting just for that.

ok.. i will confirm it for you... there will be a Samsung Galaxy S4 release this year.
look for worldwide release.. all major carriers will have it by end of year...and USA to have it mid-summer.

I think it is pretty obvious an S4 will be released. And it will likely have the 8-Core Exynos 5 Octo processor which they claim has a 70% battery life increase and that it is the fastest. Screen will likely increase with bezel size decrease so overall phone dimension remain about the same. More PPI, maybe 13mp camera like Sony is doing.
