Had tweet from 3 saying 2.3.4 will be with us next week on 3!

2 questions, do I need to unroot? And if so how?

I know this was for Chis but here's a link for unrooting. I've not tried this yet but I have it on my sd card for when I do.

ok im geussing this is to fix the minor but many conflict that have arisen from the 2.3 update (lost data, ram fixes) i would follow the normal procedure i used to get the official update, i used s,o,c (super one click) and selecting "gingerbreak" method, but then to go back to unroot i simply did the same but selected unroot - gingerbreak method when finished...then disconnected, reconnected and start kies, when the update is available you should 99.9.9% sure be able to update to the newer firmware with no probs,.

can you let me know when you have a date for this update, i dont bother using kies unless i know theres an update

No worries! It all seems to have fallen into an information line! I tweet 3, they reply, I put on here, a website then reports it as news, then for a week I end up with a few more followers!
This happened with the last update!
