Help Touchscreen Working Strangely

Got the Triumph 2 weeks ago. A couple days ago the touch screen started acting strange. Basically, I can use the screen for a couple seconds but if I go for ~1 second without touching the screen it locks up and I can't do anything. It's kind of tough to explain. Also, I can't shut it off. Whenever I attempt to power down it just restarts itself automatically. I didn't drop it/damage it or anything like that.

Any tips on what to do? If it can't be fixed, I assume I can get a refund/replacement because it's been such a short time. I bought directly from Virgin Mobile fwiw.

Call VM. You'll have a replacement in 2 to 3 days probably.

Actually if you just bought it 2 weeks ago, you should return it to the store. That way you'll get a brand new replacement, VM would probably send a refurb.
