trouble getting streaming music -- sugestions for Apps.

Hi all.

Have a nexus one, and surpriseingly, it doesn't come with any internet radio apps installed.

I can't seem to gett imeem, or pandroa, or lastFM to work.

I guess pandroa is a "can't use in canada thing", but what about the others? Any ideas?

SLacker "kinda" works - but I am on a 30 day trial.

Ideas?

I didnt know slacker even had a 30 day trial. Ive had the free widget and program on my phone and it works great but then again so does pandora. What seems to be the difficulty, or what kind of problems are you having?

BTW they are right in the middle of a series of music app reviews in the news section of Phandroid main. You should look through the older posts and read the reviews.

I second brokeoutangel's suggestion for looking at the phandroid music app reviews. They are really well done.

Its weird that you can't get last.fm to work. That is a pretty solid player in my opinion.

You don't have anything weird like only use 2g service checked or anything? Also, if your 3g service is spotty, it might not be able to buffer the music thereby causing you problems. I know that if I'm in an area where service goes in and out, it has trouble reconnecting to the servers once it gets disconnected.

I guess part of my problem is that I don't understand android procedures for insatllign stuff.

I go to market and search for last FM , I get 6 pages of stuff, non that seem really like one created by last FM

If I GO to last FM , I can get in to my profile- ever search for music, but it seems to just find, "info" on the music, not play anything.

I search for jackson"

and get "michal Jackson ) ... 56 million plays ...READ MORE?

scrool down I find the track "bille jean" .. and if gives me a real great history of the song.... writen in 1983 ....and it is 4:52 in length ...

but no way to play it, I can see.
