Trouble with Car Charger ...

Ok, here is the issue. Went and purchased the Eris with some accessories from the local Verizon store. Got the phone, batter was low got out to my car and hooked it up to the mini usb car charger and it charged my phone. Got home charged on A/C charger and next day when to put it back on D/C charger and it wont charge it. I tried another cigaretter lighter in my car and nothing. Tried it in my wifes car and still nothing.
I took the charger into the Verizon store thinking maybe it was bad. They tested it and say its fine. So what the heck is wrong here????

if you have no problems charging your eris at home, i would go back to Verizon and insist it's bad. Have them charge your eris when they hook up the charger to the eris. One of the 2 is defective (assuming you did all those tests you say you did)

Is your car made by Volkswagen? In the VW the power to all of the 12v. outlets is only hot while the ignition is on. I have a VW and it aggravates me.
