In my area, Verizon's LTE has a real problem penetrating buildings. It will frequently result in my phone trying to hold onto a weak signal that is not actually usable instead of falling back to 3G (EVDO.)
I recently switched from an iPhone, which had a handy toggle in settings to disable LTE that I typically used when indoors. I have not been able to find any option to do this on my Moto X with Lollipop though. It's preventing me from using data in a lot of instances where I was able to do so on the iPhone. I've tried several apps that claim to be able to switch off LTE, but none of them seem to work.
Please tell me there is a way to do this.
