Uber has decided to change things up when it comes to how much your fare will cost. Previously, you would be told an estimated price, along with a multiplier (if surge pricing was in effect), you'll be told an exact, upfront price.
Surge pricing will still go into effect during busy times, you just won't see any visual cues to tell you this, other than the possibility of an increase in your fare.
