Uk 2.3.4

Just updated my 2x to 2.3.4 this morning, first thing i noticed was that i have reception in my area in my living room, before i had nothing unless upstairs with windows open.
Screen response a bit less laggy, and diffrent colored notification bar from blue to green.

so far not bad but time will tell
ps: i didnt lose anything either when i updated i did no backup but all still there

uk lg 2x carphone warehouse unlocked.
just upgraded to 2.3.4

update on windows 7 machine took 12 minutes total from pressing "Start" to finish including the 200+mb download, download was slow.

after the update the first boot of the phone took a long time around 6-7minutes.
boots after that seems faster then on the previous os.

none of my data went missing,
apps / app data / saved games / settings all saved
nothing that i can tell as yet thats been lost.
*** APN Settings were lost and had to be manually put back in

scrolling the applications seems smoother
theres some funky new colours when getting to the end of a scroll list.
browser - better selecting text and copy and pasting then previous browser.
theres a new GPS icon, it doesnt seem any quicker to find gps satellite

update
- ive noticed that even though im not on vodafone (im on talkmobile) the update has added 2 vodafone APN settings which dont work and cant be deleted.

Has anyone tried to updates their phone without the simcard in ??

My battery seems to be lasting A LOT longer then usual.
unplugged at around 8.30am and its now 16.40 and my battery is at 65% usually by now same usage its down to 15-20%

so thats a bonus.

... i'll add some more updates if i notice anything worthwhile.

In my opinion it isn't all that great, some new icons and colours? I'd rather go back to froyo, root and install cyangenmod again
