Help Unable to Backup on 2.1

Well as the title states, I just want to make a backup since I updated to 2.1. However I am unable to do so with the backup and restore app from sony. Some of it works then it just freezes and says could not back up. Anybody know anything about this?

Bookmarks, calllog, multimedia complete then it closes with the Could not back up right after.

Make sure you have the latest version, get it here

I am getting an Apache Tomcat\4.0.5 - HTTP Status 550 - Unsupported error everytime I try to do this on my phone.

EDIT* Nvm I know why, however do I need to do something to the old one? I keep trying to install it again but it said it wasn't installed.
