Unknown symbol

After recently upgraing to ICS, I have a symbol in my status bar that I cannot identify nor get rid of. Has anyone seen this and been able to get rid of it?

That just means your notifications are turned off. Turn them back on and it'll go away.

Thanks for the advise, I've looked around and don't see where I should go to do that.

Click on the clock to bring up the notification tray. It's a toggle with all the conections (WIFI, Bluetooth, GPS etc). Scroll to the right and you will see notifications.
