Root Unrooted :(

Well I unrooted today so I can take my phone in to get it replaced. I'm getting lots of reboots especially when getting to about 102 degrees on the battery. About 15 min of angry birds and 30 seconds of Google maps will do the trick so I'm going to get it replaced. Hopefully there is a gingerbread root exploit soon.

yeah i feel for you man. i had the reboot issue, but i got mine replaced right before the gingerbread ota so i was able to root it again. well hopefully with the evo 3d clode to getting full root soon maybe the evo is close behind. i could be wrong, but let hipe.

I home so. 2 weeks since I got my replacement and I'm dyeing with this "loaner" phone.

Well I took it in. They didn't replace it. They said my issues were probably caused by my having a battery measurement app (battery indicator) and weatherbug, which they told me has some issues with gingerbread. Wtf?

They told me my hardware passed all the diagnostic stuff they ran. So now I have the same evo that I've always had with no way to get root back. Grrrrr...

Wtf??? Weatherbug and battery indicator causing your re-booting issues??? You got to be kidding me....wow. I swear sometimes the things the Sprint reps come up with, boggles the mind. Poor baby....

Yeah I got one reboot last night and the phone wasn't even hot. Ill give it a week or two, uninstall my apps and then take it back in.
