update kitkat

My very first computer is this s gal 2014 I just turned to like it at 63 it has been a chore..then an update kitkat came along I let it install and what a regret. All the print is smaller it is slower and I am sure there will be more I dislike. Now how do I get rid of it.? And if not can I make the print larger ? Thanks

Go to settings then devi w the. Font and try adjusting there
